Ingredients
1 cup Bowl & Basket chocolate chips
1 tbs vegetable shortening
Festive sprinkles (optional)
Directions
  1. Add chocolate chips and shortening to a microwave safe bowl, Melt in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring well between each to help chocolate melt evenly.
  2. Pour melted chocolate into a gelt mold (available at craft stores) and top with festive sprinkles if desired.
  3. Tap mold on the counter a few times to remove air bubbles.
  4. Let sit in a cool place to dry/ set up, approx 20 minutes.
  5. When fully dry/set, remove from molds and repeat.
  6. Wrap candies in gold foil wrappers, if desired.
